I know I know!! It has been a long time since I have updated my blog and I do apologize. It seems like I am always running at full speed and when I finally have time to myself, I grab a Dr. pepper and look for a lifetime or hallmark movie to watch. We have been very busy as usual. We went to Arkansas at the beginning of November to have Thanksgiving with my family and we spent a couple of days with Carsons family right before Thanksgiving, since I had to work on Thanksgiving. Oh the joys of being a nurse. This past weekend we went to Bartlesville for the Bethlehem in Bartlesville that Carsons parents church put on every other year. It is always fun to walk the streets of Bethlehem and I was excited to take the kid this year. Carsons dad is in charge of getting all the animals to Bethlehem and the perk for us is that we get to pet all the animals. Pumpkin Day 2010

Last weekend we went to Bartlesville to spend the weekend with Carsons parents and go to the local Pumpkin patch. We had a great weekend and here are some of the pictures from the pumpkin patch. It is definitely harder to take picture of two kids instead of one, I felt like I was running back and forth to capture all of the moments. Enjoy.

Tulsa State Fair 2010

Last Tuesday we headed to the Tulsa State Fair for a afternoon of fun. This was Maddies second year to go and I can definitely say she enjoyed it alot more this year. She absolutely loved seeing and feeding all the animals. At times she was bent over in laughter. Maddie also loved playing in the worlds largest sand box and playing on this really neat jungle gym. Claire had fun to, even though she still is a little to small to enjoy everything that sister does. I am horrible and I did not get any pictures of Claire, but I did get some of Maddie feeding the goats. Enjoy.

9 Months Old

I cannot believe that Claire is 9 months old. She started pulling up on her crib a couple of weeks ago and she pulled up on the ottoman last week. Last Thursday she officially started crawling, it is more like a two arm and one leg crawl. She also likes to sit on the floor and turn herself in circles. Watch out Maddie because your life is never going to be the same!!

Monkeys at the Zoo!!

The weather has been gorgeous here. So on Tuesday Carson and I took our little Monkeys to the zoo. Both the girls had fun riding the train and looking at all the animals. I think this was the first time that Maddie actually understood what was going on. She would call the animals by name and look in the exhibit for each animal. It was really cute and we plan on goin g back before it gets to cool.

Arkansas Again!!

We went to Arkansas in September to meet baby Ben. As always Maddie and Claire enjoyed playing with all their cousins and I enjoyed seeing all of my family. While we were there we had a birthday party for my nephew Evan who was turning 7. We had the party at my mom's house. She lives out in the country, she has lots of land and a swimming pool, so needless to say Maddie had a blast. Maddie even swam by herself. I cannot belive how fast she is growing up.

My little sister had her baby on August 10. He was a few weeks early which caught us all off guard. We had the pleasure of meeting handsome baby Ben in September when we all made a trip to Grandmas. He is absolutely adorable and we can't wait to see him again. We love you baby Ben!!

Maddie's 2nd Birthday

We had a blast celebrating Maddies 2nd birthday. Aunt Amanda, Uncle Ross, Grandma Gail and all Maddies cousins came for the big party. The party had a Tinkerbell theme. We a tinkerbell cake, tinkerbell pinata, tinkerbell balloons and other tinkerbell decor. Maddie and Wyatt had fun trying to bust the pinata. It was hot but overall everyone had a great time. However next year I am thinking about a indoor party.

One of my greatest joys this summer has been watching Maddie play in the backyard. She loves to swim in her pool, but has had more fun playing in the water hose. She also has had fun trying to get Carson, Claire and I wet while we were sitting on the deck. I love these photos.

While in Arkansas we spent alot of time in Grandma's pool. It was alot of fun for Maddie to go swimming with all of her cousins. We had a great time spending time with all of our Arkansas family and we look forward to going back soon.

We had a baby shower for Aunt Carrie and baby Ben at the end of June. We had a lot of fun showering Aunt Carrie with gifts. Baby ben was due August 30th but he surprised us all and was born August 10. Weighing in at at 6lbs and 6oz, he is the smallest of my nephews. We look forward to meeting cousin Ben. Congrats Aunt Carrie and Uncle Nick. Pictures of Ben will be coming as soon as I get some on my computer.

I cannot believe C laire is seven months old. Summer has flown by because we have been so busy. Claire is such a joy to be around. She could not wait to sit up and now that she can sit up all she wants to do is stand up with help and jump up and down. She adores her big sister and will talk and smile at Maddie even if she is fussy. She is eating baby food now. She loves Green beans and hates peas, which is exactly opposite of h0w Maddie use to be. I can not believe Maddie will be two in just two months. Maddie is doing something new everyday and there is not a day that goes by that she does not make us laugh. Yesterday I tried to get her picture and I told her to pose for the camara. I did not think she would do it because she always has to many other things to do but she proved me wrong and here is what I got. Gotta love that smile.

Easter in Arkansas 2010

We were so excited to spend Easter in Arkansas. I cannot remember the last time I went home for Easter. It was fun to see the girls hang out with their cousins. We had a easter egg hunt, we dyed easter eggs, we had brunch at my aunts, went to church on easter Sunday and did lots of other fun things. I attempted to get a picture of all 5 cousins in there Easter clothes but it was a impossible task. Before church two of the five kids were crying and after church three of the five kids were crying. So we just rolled with the punches. Enjoy

Elmo Live!!!!

At the end of March Carson and I took Maddie to see Elmo at Sesame Street Live. Anybody that knows Maddie, knows that she loves Elmo and Tinkerbell. We had great seats and Maddie stood in my lap jumping up and down the whole time. Totally worth every penny, just to see the smile on her face. Thanks to Grandma Ann for babysitting baby Claire.

We have talked to Maddie before about sharing with sister, however I have no clue if she understood what we were saying. One Month Old and Big Sister Little Sister Shower

Okay so once again it has been forever since I made a post. The last month has been a little crazy. I had my first and hopefully last kidney stone and needless to say it was NO fun!!! Maddie continues to adjust to life as a big sister and Claire is growing like crazy. At her one month checkup she weighed in at 10 pounds 2 ounces. This was no surprise considering how much the girl likes to eat. Carson and I joke that I must make skim milk!!! In February we made a trip to Arkansas. This was Claire's first trip to Arkansas to meet my family and while we were there my wonderful sister and aunt ann had a big sister little sister shower for the girls. It was alot of fun and the girls go alot of cute clothes to wear this spring and summer. Here are some pictures from our trip to Arkansas. Well we are less then 48 hours away from Claires debut. I had my preop appointment this morning and the only thing left to do is put some clothes in the suitcase and be at the hospital early on Wednesday. Carson is nice and calm, I myself am a little nervous about the actual c-section. We are going to try and post pictures here as soon after the delivery as possible. So check back here on wednesday to see pictures of Mrs. Claire and big sister Maddie.

Christmas 2009!

We had a wonderful Christmas , complete with plenty of snow. We spent the weekend before Christmas at my house in Arkansas. We came home for a few days and then headed to Bartlesville to be with Carson's family. Maddie had a blast and loved all of her new toys. You can tell in some of the pictures how excited she was when she saw her gifts. We are now only two weeks away from Claires debut. So needless to say the next two weeks are going to be busy. Maddie is so funny these days. Carson and I can always depend on Maddie to make us laugh when the times are rough. On Tuesday Carson had a appointment with his neurologist, afterwards we decided to take Maddie to Mcdonalds to let her eat lunch since it was past her lunch time. Carson and I were talking about things that have been going on lately and needless to say we were both a little down. About that time we see Maddie take her french fry and dip it in my ketchup. This is the first time that she had every done that. I guess she had been watching Carson and I and so she decided she wanted to try some ketchup. We both looked at her at the same time and she just laughed and continued to once again dip her french fry in some more ketchup. It may not seem that funny but to us it was absolutely adorable and it made us forget about all of our troubles. Carson and I are so grateful for Maddie and we are even more grateful that she makes us laugh on a daily basis.

We had a great Thanksgiving in Arkansas. We got to spend some time with my family and Maddie got to play with her cousins. We will be spending Christmas in Oklahoma with Carson's family. We only have six weeks left before Claire makes her debut so we are going to be busy getting ready for Christmas and her arrival.

Claire is scheduled to make her debut in less than 8 weeks. Crazy!! So since Claire will get the nursery, Maddie got her own big girl room. Maddie loves it and could spend hours in her new room looking at books and playing with her toys. Here are some pictures of the finished product. The only thing I have left to do is put up the purple and white curtains.

Today at church all the kids got to dress up for fall festival. Maddie is going to be Tinkerbell for Halloween, but since I did not think she would keep her costume on while we were in church, I decided to put this dress on her instead. I know it has been a while since I made a new post. Our computer was broke for a while and we finally got that fixed. We have been in the process of preparing Maddie's new room so we had to unhook the computer to paint her room. Now we just need to have a new hookup put in the living room. In order to get on the internet you currently have to sit in the floor in Maddie's new room. My camara is currently broke but I soon as I get it working again I will take some pictures of Maddie's new space. We have been staying busy around here. I am now 24 weeks along. They are planning on doing a c-section on January 13th., which is only 15 weeks away. Crazy! I must admit this one has gone a little faster, probably because I spend all my time chasing Mrs. Maddie around. Maddie continues to do something new every day. Her new thing, climbing on everything. Not good for when you need to leave the room for a few minutes. The other day I went into the kitchen for a split second, came back and Maddie was standing in the middle of the couch. I am so afraid she is going to fall off and hurt herself, so needless to say where ever I go Maddie must follow. We have decided to call the new baby Alexis Claire. We will be calling her Claire. We are so excited to meet this new bundle of joy and cannot believe that we are being blessed with another girl. We went back to the doctor today and everything looked great and is right on target. We were hoping to get a sneak peek of the sex of the baby, but baby gaines had other ideas. Baby gaines kept their hand right between their legs the whole time we were doing the ultrasound. We go for our official ultrasound on Tuesday, so hopefully baby gaines will cooperate. So the big question still remains. Will baby gaines be a boy, girl, or will we have to wait until January to find out? I guess we will find out on Tuesday!! Carson, Becky, and big sister Maddie.

18 Weeks!

I cannot believe that I am already 18 weeks along. We go back to the doctor on Wednesday, so hopefully we will find out if Maddie is going to have a little brother or sister. Sorry it has been so long since I posted. Maddie is doing the cutest things these days. The other day Carson was at work and I was loading the dishwasher. Maddie was sitting in the floor playing with some toys. The next thing I know Maddie gets the empty dog bowls and puts them in the dishwasher for me. I had to just laugh we have been trying to teach her not to put her toys in the dishwasher. She walks everywhere and is learning something new everyday. We finally got her one year photos back. Maddies 1st Birthday and First ear infection!!

I can't believe my baby is one. It seems like just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. My family came done last Monday night to spend the week with us and to help get ready for Maddies first Birthday party. The theme was farm animals, because that is Maddie's favorite toy. We had a blast at the birthday party and we had a fun week playing with my family. Maddie enjoyed spending the week with her three cousins: Evan, Luke and baby Wyatt. We were sad to see them go home yesterday. We will miss you Grandma Gail, Aunt Amanda, Uncle Ross, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Nick, Cousins Evan, Luke and Wyatt. Maddie also had to go to the doctor on Friday because she kept running a fever. They told us she had a ear infection. I was so sad that she was sick on her first birthday, but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. Luckily she is feeling better now. Here are some pictures from Maddies party. Enjoy. Mini Vacation

This Weekend Carson, Maddie, and I headed to Oklahoma City for a little getaway. We had a lot of fun staying in downtown OKC close to bricktown. We took Maddie to White Water Bay water park on Friday and she absolutely loved it. We also lounged around at the hotel pool, went to a redhawks baseball game, took a boat ride down the canal, took some naps, and ate at some of our favorite restaurants. Overall our trip was a blast and it was good to have some family time alone. Here are some pictures of Maddie.

We had our first doctors appointment yesterday and their is definitely a baby in there. Once you see that first ultrasound it makes everything seem so real. I mean I knew something was going on because I have been nothing but nauseated for the last 2-3 weeks! UGH. I was never that way with Maddie, not like this anyway. So far everything looks good and we will be having another ultrasound this Friday. It looks like the official due date right now is January 18th, 2010. However I had a c-section last time with Maddie so the plan is to have another c-section around 39 weeks which would make the date more like January 12th.

On another note, sorry I have not updated my blog in a while. Every since I got back from Arkansas I have been really busy and nauseated. So in my free time I have just been trying to rest so that I can work on the days I am scheduled to work. Maddie is 11 months old today so I will try and post some pictures of her. I cannot believe she is 11 months old!! She took her first steps by herself on Monday. Can you believe it?

Dogs

What is it about our furry little friends called dogs that make us fall in love with them. Is it the way they greet us like we have been gone for years when we return home, when in reality we have only been gone a little while? Is it the way they lay their heads on our knees when they sense that we are sad or having a bad day? Or maybe it is the unconditional love they show us as they live their short lives. F0r me it is all of the above and many more.
Today the dog that I had known since I was 15 died. Her name was Ginger. She was a great and loyal dog. We will miss you Ginger!! Even Mamaw Reba will miss you!!!

A busy weekend!!

We had a busy but wonderful weekend. I worked three in a row last week, so I got to be off Thursday thru Sunday night. It took me a day to get rested but I still had the whole weekend with Maddie and Carson. On Friday our good friends Sandra and Joe invited us to the Tulsa drillers game. We worried all week that the weather would not hold up, but it ended up being a beautiful night. So on Friday night Maddie went to her first Drillers game. We had a wonderful time with our friends. Sandra and Joe are expecting a baby in September and we cannot wait to find out they are having. They are fantastic with Maddie and they are going to be great parents. On Saturday Carson went to Bartlesville to help his dad, while Maddie and I had a Mommy and Me day. We have not had one of these days in a while so it was way past due. We played all day and of course made a trip to Target. I am so amazed at how fast Maddie is growing. Lately she has become little miss independent. She is crawling everywhere and is trying to pull up on everything. She loves to get the books off of her bookshelf and hold them. She has two teeth on the bottom that you can see breaking through. She loves to watch the "Sunny side up show" that comes on the Sprout channel each morning. Her favorite is "Chica" a little orange bird. She also is clapping her hands together when she hears music. It is so cute. The other night at the drillers game we were walking up to the stadium and they had some loud music playing. Even though Maddie was half asleep she immediately started clapping. It was so cute, Carson and I both laughed. I am just amazed at what she is doing and I am trying to soak up every single moment. My favorite thing to do is to rock Maddie to sleep. It is so nice to turn on the CD player and just spend those few moments with her as we wind down our day. It makes me so grateful each night as I can look into her eyes. I am so grateful that she is healthy and Carson and I are blessed beyond belief with each moment we get to spend with Maddie. On Saturday night we attended a friends Birthday party and cookout. Maddie was so good!! She just sat in the floor and played with all the toys. Maddie is always so good, I just know the next one will probably be a holy terror. Ha Ha. On Sunday we attended church as usual. The preacher started a new series on parenting called " Who wears the pants", it was great and we are looking forward to this month long series. On Sunday night we went back to the Beams house for our community group. Even though we had a busy weekend I enjoyed every minute of being off of work and hanging out with Maddie and Carson. Wyatt and Arkansas

Wyatt arrived at 7:18PM on Monday March 23, 2009. He weighed in at 8 pounds and 14 ounces. Carson,Maddie and I headed to Arkansas last Tuesday. We spent most of the week just hanging out and taking it easy. Here are some pictures from our trip. I will have more as soon I get them from my sister. Since the whole entire family is in the waiting room at St. Josephs waiting on baby Wyatt to arrive I thought I would post these pictures of Maddie for all to see. We have recently discovered that little Miss Maddie loves to get her picture made. Alot of people have asked me how I get Maddie to smile for the camara. All I have to do is get the camara out and tell her to smile, she does the rest. Matter of fact Carson and I took her yesterday to get her 6 months pictures done, before we even got into the picture room, Maddie was striking poses for everyone in the waiting area. At one point in the middle of taking pictures all of the girls that worked at the JC Pennys studio were standing in the door looking at Maddie because she was putting on such a show. The 6 months pictures turned out great. I will post them when they are ready. Maddie and I just got back from Arkansas on Sunday. We had to go to Arkansas for Aunt Amanda's baby shower. Once again Maddie put on a show at the shower. I will post those pictures as soon as I get them from my sister Carrie. For now here is a few pictures of Maddie posing for the camara. ENJOY!!

Tulsa Zoo

A couple of weeks ago the weather was nice so we decided to get out of the house and take Maddie to the zoo. Maddie loved looking at all the animals. She especially loved the kangaroos and the otters because they were so close to her. I am also including a picture of Maddie with Carson and I.

Well we made our first trip to the ER last night. Maddie started having this cough on Friday night and it continued to get worse through out the weekend. RSV has been going around her day care like wild fire so we were worried that Maddie had RSV. Maddie respirations were increased and she started throwing up so we headed to the SF ER. After arriving at the ER we saw one of our friends Lori from Community Group at our church. She is a nurse in the ER, we had just seen her a few hours before at the CG superbowl party, so we had no idea she would be at work. She was so good to take care of Maddie. She immediately listened to Maddie's lungs and assured us that Maddie was okay. We made in and out of the ER in 2 HOURS!!! We did confirm that Maddie has RSV. So today mommy had to stay home from work to take care of litte miss Maddie. She is doing better and I am grateful that I could stay home with her today and watch after her. I can't wait for her to be all better, I hate to see her feel bad. It is one of the many times I wish I could put myself in her shoes and be sick for her. On a happier note I will try and post pictures of our recent trip to the Tulsa Zoo.

Since Christmas Maddie has been sitting up and she has gotten quite good at it. I am posting some pictures of Maddie sitting up on her own. Maddie also loves to put everything in her mouth. Her favorite things to put in her mouth are the farm animals that Aunt Carrie got her for Christmas. I am also posting some pictures of Maddie in my necklaces. She is fascinated by my necklaces when I wear them so I thought I would let her play with some of them today. I am also posting a picture of Maddie sleeping in one of my favorite dresses that she has. She won't be able to wear it anymore because it is too small. I wanted to take a picture of her in it so I would have it. Maddie continues to grow more and more each week and we go for our 6 month checkup next Wednesday.

Maddie had a wonderful first Christmas. We left Tuesday afternoon December 23 to go to my house in Arkansas. We had a great time seeing all of my family. Carson's parents and nephew also joined us in Arkansas for Maddie's first Christmas. Maddie turned 5 months old on Christmas Eve. I will let the photos do the tallking. Santa, Bethlehem, and a Christmas Train!!

This past weekend we had a lot of fun. On Saturday Carson took Maddie and I to the mall to get Maddie's picture made with Santa. When Maddie first saw Santa she laughed. After I put Maddie in Santa's lap she just stared at him and then she pulled at his beard. Thank goodness the beard was real!! After we got done taking her picture with Santa I went and got her out of Santa's lap. As soon as I picked her up, she was facing Santa and once again she started laughing like crazy at Santa. I have a picture but I will have to have Carson scan it onto his work computer before I can post it on the blog. Here are a couple of pictures from the mall.

Saturday night we traveled to Bethlehem (in Bartlesville). The church were Carson grew up has what they call "Bethlehem in Bartlesville". Carson and I have been before but we wanted to take Maddie. Grandma Ann, Grandpa Roy and Cousin Skyler were actors in the city. It was alot of fun and Maddie got to see her first camel. Her name was Elizabeth and she stayed at Carson's parents house over the weekend. Bethlehem in Bartlesville is a must see for anyone that lives close by.

On Sunday night we braved some very cold temperatures and wind to go to the Chirstmas Train in Pryor, OK. Despite the freezing temps we had alot of fun and plan on going back next year. After arriving at the park you board a train and it takes you on a story thru Jesus's life. It was absolutely beautiful and shows you the true meaning of Christmas. After riding the train we headed out on foot thru the little western town and enjoyed some shopping and hot cocoa.

Our weekend was packed full of fun and we plan on making these some of our family traditions while we are living in Tulsa. We are looking forward to Christmas and cannot wait to celebrate Maddie's first Christmas. We will be traveling to Arkansas and Carson's family will be joining us.

I cannot believe that it is already December. The month of November went by so fast. We have been very busy. We spent one weekend at my house in Arkansas celebrating a early Thanksgiving and Cousin Luke's fourth birthday. And we just go back today from Bartlesville were we celebrated Thanksgiving with Carson's side of the family. Maddie turned four months old on November 24th. We had our four month check up on the 26th. Maddie weighed in at 14 lbs and 14.75 oz and she was 26 inches long. I cannot believe that she is already four months old. She is trying really hard to roll over. It is so much fun watching her try, she gets so excited when she rolls over from her back to her stomach. Maddie has also discovered her feet. It is hard at times to keep socks on her because she loves to pull them off. This past week she started standing in our laps and at times that is all she wants to do, she also loves to sit in her purple bumbo. We are looking forward to celebrating Maddies first Christmas. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we are most thankful this year for our new little angel!! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Enjoy. BECKY

Maddie goes to the hospital daycare on the days that I work. On Friday in lieu of Halloween Maddie's class had a halloween parade thru the hospital lobby. Maddie was so cute. I took a ton of pictures of her in her halloween dress. She came riding up in this little wagon and as soon as she saw Carson and I she started smiling. I am posting some pictures of her in her dress. Grandma Ann also came to spend the night Friday while the boys went pheasant hunting in Kansas. On Saturday Grandma and I headed off to target to get Maddie's three month pictures made. Poor Maddie was so tired after we where done with pictures. She feel asleep before we ever left the store. 3 Months Old!!

My how time flys. It seems like yesterday that Maddie was born and now she is three months old. Maddie has really learned how to coo over the last several days. She now talks to us nonstop when she is awake. She is discovering her hands and feet, and she loves to try and fit her whole hand into her mouth. The last three months have been truly amazing and our little girl has changed so much already. We love her more then anything and have truly been blessed. Here is a trip down memory lane. Enjoy. I tried taking Maddie's picture before church on Sunday and no matter what I did she did not want to look at the camara. She looked so cute in her brown dress with white polka dots and her leggings. All she wanted to do was look around the living room. So the other day we were in the car heading to Bartlesville for a little visit and she was posing for the camara. I could not help myself because she was just so cute. Here are some of the pictures I took of her. I am also including a picture of her with great grandma Lenora. I know grandma Gail was wanting a picture of her in her pink outfit with brown polka dots and the "grandma has all the answers" onesie so I am posting it as well.

Annual Fall Fayetteville Trip 2008

Last Friday Maddie and I packed up and headed to Fayetteville to meet Grandma Gail, Aunt Amanda and cousins Evan and Luke. The weekend trip has become a fall tradition. We had fun eating at our favorite restaurants and shopping all weekend. Maddie of course came away with the most clothes! We stayed at the hampton inn and while we were there we tryed out their indoor pool. This was Maddies first time to go swimming, she seemed to like it. Maddie just sat in grandma gail's lap and looked around at everything. She fascinated herself watching my two nephews swim like the little fishes they are. We also headed up to campus to walk around and take some pictures. My nephews Evan and Luke had fun playing in the leaves as you will be able to tell below. I also took Maddies first picture in front of the peace fountain on campus. Who knows maybe someday she will decide to go to school there. Overall our trip was a blast and we can't wait to go back next fall. Maddie and I loved getting to see my side of the family and we miss them already. Hopefully we will get to see them next month when we head to south Arkansas for a early Thanksgiving celebration.

So Carson, Maddie and I spent the weekend being sick. We all had this cold and let me be the first to say that it was no fun. Maddie and I are better now but Daddy is still trying to fight it off. On Saturday I just had to get out of the house so I went to the Mall to get a cute outfit for Maddie to wear in her halloween parade at her daycare. I felt bad for Maddie being sick and all so while at the mall I found her the cutest little stuffed bunny and I bought it for her. Grandma Gail had seen this really cute halloween dress at dilliards so I was very excited when I found the dress at my dillards here in Tulsa. After shopping I headed home to give Maddie her bunny rabbit and she just loved it. She likes to grab hold of it while she is sleeping. I am posting a picture of Maddie sleeping with her bunny and a picture of her halloween dress. Today I was going thru Maddie's closet and looking for things she had not wore yet. I found this really cute winnie the pooh outfit with a hat that Carson and I bought for her right before she was born.We wanted her to wear it home from the hospital but it of course was to big at the time. I put it on her today and I wanted to get a picture with her wearing the hat. Maddie just smiled and smiled when she had the outfit on but when I put the hat on she started to wiggle and soon began crying. Needless to say she hates the hat, but I did manage to get a coulple of good photos. I am posting those photos as well. I hope everyone is doing well. BECKY

Already 2 months old!!

It is hard to believe that Maddie is already two months old. She has changed so much since we brought her home from the hospital. She really loves to smile at Carson and I. In the evenings when we get home from work Carson and I will lay with her on the bed. When we talk to her and make faces at her she makes noises back at us and smiles. The other night I was going thru her basket of head bands and I decided to try a few of them on that she has never worn before. Every time I would put on a different head band I would take a picture and Maddie would smile at me. I thought I would share a few with you. The first picture is a picture of Maddie on the day she turned two months old.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Maternity leave flew by and I started back to work last week. It was really hard for me to have to go back to work. I enjoyed spending all of my time with Maddie. It is amazing how much she has already grown. Maddie is sleeping in her room now in her crib and is doing quite well. She usually wakes up twice a night. Maddie loves to play on her play mat and is getting quite good at hitting the animals on the play mat with her arms and legs. Over the last couple of weeks she has been smiling alot and is learning how to coo. I am posting some pictures of our labor day trip to Arkansas and I am also posting some pictures of Maddie in some of her different outfits. Grandma Gail and Aunt Amanda bought alot of the clothes, so I try to take pictures of her in all of her different outfits so that they can see them on her. I hope everyone is doing well and now that we are starting to get in the routine of things I am going to try and post more often.
